Oh brother. At least Toivo knows what the better part of valor is.
Well, now you know what their side dish is. And Stephanie, whose favorite coffee drink is a quintuple shot habanero mocha, would never make her curry too hot for human consumption. At least, not on purpose, or without some urging by Edison.
But how is Eleanor going to take this? She might just laugh it off and congratulate Edison for putting one over on her.
Uh-huh. Well, that’s a little something we’ll get to sooner or later. In the meantime, it’s time to check in with some other folks. You’ll see next time!
Some of you might recognize that spaceship that’s headed into the sun in the second panel…
Oh my oh my oh my that shocked look on her face is just so incredibly cathartic after all the BS she pulled in the last few comics. Thank you so much for this little schadenfreude-flavored treat. I will savor it ever so much.
Enjoy it while you can. I believe this may be the first time I’ve ever drawn Eleanor with that expression.
People don’t dare do this to her more than once.
I love Stephanie in the forth frame…impish innocence, you hit it perfectly. And the first three build ups…whee! I’m looking forward to Eleanor’s reaction when the heat hits her, and how you’ll handle that explosion.
I was tempted to draw smoke coming from her ears, but I thought that was a bit much.
I’m glad you like the setup panels. Originally I was going to just have Eleanor talking to Stephanie, but then I got this vision, and, well…
My wife just asked “Charlie’s comic you laughing at?”
She knows my reaction to your humour away too well.
That is the best compliment I have gotten in a long time! I love it!
Give your wife a big kiss for me, Mike.
Oh Edison, didn’t anyone tell you revenge is a dish best served Cold?
Badda bing!
Devilishly clever, Mike.
Ha, Steph can’t even look evil dressed as a devil. Tovio knows what’s goin’ down and he’s heading out of town. Eleanor literally gets to eat her words. Hehe.
Ain’t she the cutest thing?
Considering all the blistering things that have come out of Eleanor’s mouth, something blistering going in might not be all that big a deal to her. 🙂
Eleanor may have a fiery tongue (and temper), but that’s only for words. 6 alarm curry might be a bit much.
Still, Edison really got her this time.
Love The Devil in Miss Stephanie…
I was going to make her look all evil. But then, this is Stephanie, after all. She doesn’t realize what she’s really doing.
Hmmm…Eleanor may not be the only one who wants to have a few words with Edison…
And I see what you did there.
Lyssa’s enjoying herself.
Yeah, it’s good that Eleanor get on the back foot every once in a while. And it’s few others than Stephanie who can do it, because she doesn’t really realise she’s doing it. Chaos theory at work.
And a beautiful page again Charlie. Not often you can feel the heat coming off a black and white page. 🙂
