At least no one but Leopold got hurt. And he’ll be fine.
Well, hello Stephanie! Nice of you to drop in. Juno doesn’t seem too angry about the whole thing.
In case you’ve just joined us, we’re almost done with our crossover with the wonderful comic “Princess Chroma.” melaredblu and I have been having lots of fun with this, and we hope you’re enjoying it.
Speaking of fun, I think I see some familiar faces in that first panel. Any guesses?
And speaking of familiar, Hjels, creator of the awesome comic “October 20th,” gave one of his handsome and talented characters a very familiar last name. Thank you for that, brother. You’re the best.
So, what’s coming up next? We’ll be wrapping up the crossover while Stephanie gets wrapped up in some new duds, and Leopold… aw no, that’d be giving too much away…
I’ll give you a hint, though. It’s in the current page of “Princess Chroma.”
Remember when there was a time in your life where you didn’t have to depict a torrent of raw sewage? And to think, those times are gone.
Poor Leo, I hope that glass is just stuck in his hair and not all the way into his scalp. Then again, it’s still nothing compared to the agony I’ve put him through, and he did bring it upon himself, flying through a window like that.
Juno’s hairdresser and fashion designers are going to have a fit when they see her.
As far as the raw sewage, I find that it’s best not to focus on just what it is I’m drawing. That’s a road I don’t want to slide down.
I think some of the glass got under Leo’s skin. It’s still less painful than all the mace blows to the head that you’ve subjected the poor guy to.
He had to fly through the window. You know better than anyone how much he loves to make an entrance.
Besides, all that glass reminds him of when he used to work in an eyeglass factory. He was forever making a spectacle of himself.
I think Juno will be cleaned up for the next strip too. Leo couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use his “dress-up” magic on her. It’s just another chance to irritate her.
Once again Charlie I am in Awe of your talent.
Aw, thank, Mike.
I wasn’t sure if that tall panel would work. It was one of those times where I just got it into my head that that’s how it should be, and so I went with it.
That, and the glass breaking, were the main reasons why this strip took so long to post.
I swear, soon I’m going to do another strip set either in a steam room or a dense fog.
Say what you will about the librarian-turned-monarch, but Queen Juno is a class act. 🙂
If chickens signal humor, what does a duck depict?
That the artist is quacking-up?
hi, what would a duck depict? Mayhem, Queen Juno is smiling, just as Eleanor would be smiling. Duck is smart, it is the heck out of Dodge.
forgot something. it is GETTING the heck out of Dodge.
Maybe Groucho is lurking nearby…
Hee, hee, hee. I know at least two of them in attendance. I’d recognise that notched nose anywhere. 🙂
Good thing for Leo he’s indestructible. Although I imagine that would make you willing to do crazy things. Like flying face first into a giant window. Love your panelling on this one too.
