Oh Rosie, indeed.
You know, I wondered if Agnes would stop these two from doing what they’re obviously doing. I figured that, while she wouldn’t like it, she would let her man have his little bit of fun. Especially since this would be his last chance. I mean, they won’t see each other until either Philo marries Agnes or Dilbert gets hitched and Rosemary is invited to the wedding.
Coming soon-it’s Kittens and Catacombs night!
UPDATE: But you’re gonna have to wait a bit to find out what happens. This has been the week that was. It’s halfway done, if that’s any help.
No wonder Chester and Emily are having such a hard time trying to find the Black Ball! They’re looking for the wrong kind of establishment!
I would totally eat there. I bet they have great waffles.
I daresay that the Black Ball serves the finest waffles in Rivendale.
Good job drawing the Vitrolite panels on the Black Ball — I’ve never been there myself but I have no doubt it looks exactly like that.
As for frolicking, well, it’s perfectly in character for Edison/Rosie, and who could resist? Philo’s only human, right?
Thanks Pops!
This was taken from a cool book on diners, called, appropriately enough, Diners, by John Baeder.
Vitrolite, you say? I always wondered what those were. I remember them from White Castles of my youth.
Exactly! Who could resist Rosie? She’s kind of like Eleanor sometimes. A real force of nature.
I bet that scramble gets a stray eggshell in it from time to time.
For their sake, this better be a last-time thing. I’m not sure this is a good way to see each other off. Agnes might be willing to let it go, but I bet she’d have preferred he’d not. And then there’s Larry and Stephanie.
Of course, if/when Eleanor gets wind of this, she’ll be delighted to have some fresh new blackmail material right off the griddle.
Or something to chip a tooth…
This is a last-time thing. Rosemary was gonna say that Philo won’t see her until she’s invited to his wedding or Dilbert gets married.
Of course, after this, she may not get invited.
And yeah, this is just more grist for the Eleanor mill.
So the other night, I bent over to pick something up and got very lightheaded.
I promptly sat down. The lady I was working for said, “Are you okay?”
And I said…
…”Spinny-spins.”
“This is a fun game!”
TOtBC, I can’t thank you enough for that laugh.
Though I hope you’re okay!
So you’re going to tell me that THIS probably won’t ger around, either? ^^
Depends. Eleanor may have contacts in the area who would tell her, but she’s already got enough dope on Edison. This’d be a drop in the bucket to her.
Larry’s no fool, though. He would know that Edison gave him permission to frolic with Anya for a reason. Whether or not he tries to find out that reason, and how Edison would deal with that, is in the future.
And I realize that someone who’s just discovered Groovy, Kinda, would have no idea what we were talking about.
Anyone who has just discovered Groovy, Kinda should jolly well go back and study the entire comic from the beginning–not just for information, but for the sheer enjoyment or it. ^^
Hear hear!
Wait, is this really strip #666?
No wonder you’re having a bad week…..
Strip 666 and Edison’s acting devilish.
