Hoo-boy.
Happy New Year! We’re starting out right-with a new comic on time!
And what a doozy! Larry’s just found out what Edison didn’t want him to know and Stephanie promised not to tell.
Rad, of course, is referring to this little episode.
Wonder why the secretary did that. Disgruntled employee? Eleanor? We’ll find out soon enough.
But that’s the least of our worries! How’s Larry gonna take this? What will it do to their plans?
Is Eleanor gonna win again?
All this* and more will be revealed in the next few strips! Stay tuned!
*ha ha. Just kidding. Only some of it will be revealed. Surprises await.
Ah.
Well, the cat was gonna get let out of the bag eventually. Guess now we find out how Larry decides to handle this. Best thing to do would probably be to talk to her privately and clear the air with everyone else once they work it out between them, but something tells me it won’t go nearly so smoothly…
Oh, what could possibly go wrong? They’ll have a nice, calm chat. Just like most adults do.
Hoo-boy, indeed.
But hoo-ray for new comic!
And hoo-ray for on time!
Amd hoo-ray for you knowing that not drawing Larry’s mouth is the most expressive thing you could draw!
Hoo-boy indeed, Pops!
The “on time” was a dicey thing, my friend. My computer’s going haywire right now, and not letting me access any pictures with the GIMP. I can’t even play my music.
Fortunately, I don’t trust it and had all my work on a backup external drive.
Anyway, we made it!
Sometimes it just works better to embrace the cartooniness of Groovy, Kinda (see also: Rad’s Heroic Chin) and leave out what isn’t working. Glad you like it!
I think Larry will be upset, then let sleeping dogs lie. After all he knows Edison often slips of her rails, and he’s man enough to awang on to his good thing. But then I could be wrong!
Welll, we hope that’s what he’ll do.
Remember, though, he has shot his mouth off about this sort of thing in the past. Eh, maybe he’s learned his lesson. Maybe, after the initial shock and hurt, he’ll see what’s really important.
Or maybe he knows something we’ve forgotten. And that’s all I’ll say for right now.
.
That time he had it coming as they didn’t have a real relationship yet, and no grounds for such accusations. Now he knows what happened by her own admission.
How will this go with all the work and plans made for opposing Eleanore? Can his love for her make him ignore all of that? Will he rebound with another? Oh the galaxy of possibilities of the outcome.
Thanks you for yet another year of wonderful story telling, and incredible art.
Thank you, Glen, and welcome!
Good points all. You’re right-that episode was earlier in their relationship.
How will this work with Eleanor? Did she have something to do with it?
Can his love overcome his shattered trust? Will it send him into Anya’s arms? Will it just send him away? What will Stephanie do?
And what would the rest of the original household (Nelson, Toivo, and Lyssa) say and do? Don’t forget, they’re family.
Oh, so many possibilities… Stay tuned!
