What’s the Dewey for that?
One of the big reasons why you don’t see more erotica in libraries is that it always gets stolen.
And one of the reasons why you don’t see more clown erotica in libraries is…well, I think you can imagine.
SakuraCon this weekend! Fun fun fun!
You know, most illustrators are pretty lazy when it comes to drawing large quantities of books on a shelf, let alone naming all of them. Well done! And I suggest you do a spin off comic based on the “Illustrated Clowna Sutra.”
Because it’s the first kind of erotica to get stolen?
Hmm…that would mean that there’s someone else out there who shares Anya’s, ah, “preferences…”
It occurs to me that you must have spent HOURS thinking up all those titles. Some of them are actually real – though not all are books. I got to see Firesign Theater live once, and I remember “We’re all Bozos on this Bus.” But they are hilarious and I salute you for coming up with that many!
Thank you, Tru! It was a whole lot of fun to come up with those. If I ever redid that page, I’d make the lettering clearer.
Keep those in mind when Stephanie gets her library card…
I’m amazed that you don’t have “The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd” on the shelf — that’s an actual musical! (Although it wasn’t actually about clowns.)
Believe it or not, I thought of that.
I was the propmaster for a production of that in Summer Stock theatre many, many years ago. Great show.
