Uh, yeah.
Hope your holiday season is a good one. Friday, it’s the second to the last strip of 2012! What a year it’s been. Anyway, more Anya and Edison, so you’ll want to see this one.
Also, check out the Groovy, Kinda TV Trope! It’s been such fun putting it together. And if you know any tropes that we’ve all missed, please, put ’em in.
Heh, I love her reaction in panel 4. And those trees in the last panel look amazing!
Thank you! With the trees, I just started goofing around with the brush and ink (then finished them off with a rapidograph).
Big thanks on Anya’s expression. She has the easiest face to draw, but in this case, it took forever (and a lot of erasing) to get it close enough to what I wanted to live with.
Pop goes the bubble … for the moment anyway. There’s definitely a connection there, regardless. It’ll just take time to marinate.
Marinate is the perfect term, considering Edison.
Yeah, there’s a connection. These two are great together. But will they be able to make it as lovers, especially in a triad?
Only time will tell, I guess…
Poor Anya.
Man, everyone seems to be on the emotional roller coaster in Groovy.
It’s different from what I’ve seen of your other work.
I love it, but I spend a lot of time feeling for the characters.
I also love the “Happy Little” trees. Anya’s House is very nice looking.
I’m also liking the UFOs over her house. Is one of them Venusian?
Oh, you guys and your Venusians… you’ll just have to wait and see.
Thank you about the “Happy Little” trees. Yeah, I try and channel Bob Ross when I do stuff like that.
I guess everyone is on more of an emotional roller coaster than in the books. Webcomics are such a different animal than graphic novels. Instead of a concise story, I can spread it out and make a soap opera out of it. I’m glad you feel for the characters. I do too, and it’s great to know that those feelings are shared.
So one of Edison’s lovers is fine with her alcoholism, while the other clearly isn’t. I see where this is going.
