Happy New Year!
Well, if you’re wondering what all the craziness going on in the background (and foreground) is, I’ll tell you. I’m in a group called Webcomic Underdogs, and those are cameos from some of our fine members. You’ll find out about their comics as the day goes on, so do check in from time to time. I promise you, you’ll really like the work they do.
Friday, another cameo, as Edison goes head to head with…well, we don’t want to spoil the surprise, do we?
SO many cameos! I love it. Is it wrong that I screamed loudly, “GET ‘EM!!! GET ‘EM!!!” When I saw Claire chasing Thomas and R? Also, I nearly died when I saw the latest in Dexter merchandise.
Food flirting is my favorite kind of flirting.
WHOA! Did I just see one of my toony chilluns on that page? If it is one of my chilluns, I almost didn’t recognize him without the blood stains or the heavy winter clothes. Please confirm or deny.
Somebody cleaned him up apparently. And, it is Summer, after all. But they couldn’t keep him away from the sardines…
Dmitri loves them sardines!
I love the position of the chicken in frame 1. It almost looks like it is going to deliver a PSA or little factoid…
And, who is the character carrying the dead rabbit in frame 2?
‘Bwak!’ “Did you know that this is the same street scene as portrayed in ‘Rhymes With Lighthouse?'”
And the character with the not-really-dead-cause-it’s-a-magical-rabbit is Princess Chroma, who’s adventures you can follow here. It’s a whole lot of fun.
none of it made sense…..except the chicken.
*grabs pen n’ paper and stands ready for cameo-confirmations*

Lots of great comics for you to try and enjoy!
Thank you for the list! 😀
All right, I think I got them now! 🙂
… and got a lot of new comics to read up on.. 😮
Incidently, when did Princess Chroma and October 20 first become introduced? I must have missed something…
I put the link to Princess Chroma a couple of paragraphs higher up, and the link to October 20 a couple of paragraphs down.
Ah, my mistake then, I read it as “Introduced in an earlier strip”, and I couldn’t for the love of anything holy not remember I’d seen them before 🙂
I am honoured and amused to see my main character grace (besmirch?) this page. You’re a legend, Charlie.
You’re too kind. Thank you.
Okay, ’cause Marius is so shy, here’s a link to his awesome horror comic: “October 20th.” I’ve read it, I love it, and I think you will too.
Darn. Haven’t gone to bed yet, but now I want breakfast porkchops with grits an’ gravy…Curse this second-shift lifestyle!
Never had grits with sausage gravy, but I bet it’d be awesome.
!?
Dude – We MUST CORRECT THIS before it’s Too Late!
Drop what you’re doing, pack your drawing things and your drawers, and immediately go to any small town in the USA south of the Mason-Dixon Line; find the diner/coffee shop/restaurant closest to the center of town, and EAT! Places with 24-hour breakfast service are recommended, but not necessary.
(I hope we got to him in time…..)
Not so easy to do, what with me being in Western Washington. Though we have 3 Navy bases, so there’s plenty of folks from that part of the country. Now I just need to get one to bring me some sausage gravy, ’cause I can make the grits…
I don’t need to say how awesome this is. It is more than that! What a great way to incorporate so many characters. Naturally I love the ATBL cameos, they made me laugh big time. They all look great, but I really love the Vorto cafe. The Dexter sex toys – oh boy!
Charlie, I don’t know how you find the time….
Sacrifice everything else, my friend. This strip took a very long time to draw. But it was worth it. I find that doing cameos and trying to mimic someone else’s style makes me more aware of how they solve some of the same problems I have.
