Hi, and welcome back to our regular comic. I’m Dim Javis, creator of that famous cat comic that you all know and love.
Because this is a regular day just like any other, I’m posting another comic just like I always do starring all the regular cast members of my famous cat comic that you all know and love.
Well, okay, I did do a little something different. I tried drawing my characters in the style of that fabulous artist, Marquisume, creator of the wonderful “Kodiet: A Medieval Vigilante Comic,” which, you may remember, featured a Stephanie cameo.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the Webcomic Underdogs’ annual April Fool’s Day Switcheroos (despite the title), this year’s theme of which is “Do Your Partner’s Comic Like A Newspaper Comic.”
And naturally Robbie goes for the lasagna!
Now that will be canon!
Aww, look at these fantastic fun folks 😀 It was a true pleasure doing this exchange with ya Charlie…. I MEAN THIS IS WHAT THE COMIC NORMALLY IS
Exactly, anonymous person! However, if it wasn’t, I’d be mighty grateful for the wonderful comic you made!
Which you didn’t, because this is totally a Groovy, Kinda comic like any other.
Switcheroo? What switcheroo??
I don’t know what they’re talking about, Uncle Delta.
So now that it’s the second of April, does that mean this strip is canon now?
Ha-ha, Dim Javis here. If, by canon, you mean “will characters from that silly little strip, Groovy, Kinda, appear sporting cat’s ears, complaining about Mondays and hankering after lasagna,” then I assure you I have an army of copyright lawyers who will make darn sure that never happens. Trust, me, Groovy, Kinda has picked up a number of new readers who will pay very close attention…
One has to wonder if that “army” is looking over your shoulder or down your bayonet!
“Dim Javis.” *snort*
I keep a collection of comic “books” in my downstairs bathroom, among which are, of course, a dozen or so “orange cat” books. (Also yours and a bunch featuring a kid and his tiger, as well as a collection featuring a hapless engineer and his co-workers) (Also a tower stack of dead tree books) The … divergence from the very first strip to how he looks today is mind-boggling.
