Oh, good one! I love dreams inside dreams; as a storytelling device and experiencing them as well. There have been times where I think I’ve woken up, did my morning routine, started driving to work, and then realized I was still in my bed dreaming. Gives me a bit of a chuckle when my brain pulls one over on me like that.
It’s too bad Inception did such a good job with that narrative device — then bad writers decided they wanted a piece of the action and made it difficult to find good examples.
That is one heck of a depressing recurring nightmare. 🙁
As for Larry harboring some lust for Stephanie… can you blame him? She is a tall goddess after all, and a total sweetheart to boot.
Depressing? I guess. After all, he did get some kissing.

I think it all depends on the dream situation. On the beach, he was super buff (at least that’s what I was trying to draw), while here he thinks he’s just woken up.

That second panel looks great. It can be tricky fading images from one another like that while filling up the space properly. And in black and white no less. And how graphic!
