Wow.
Was Larry just dreaming, or does he harbor deeper feelings for Stephanie? What would she think?
We’ll get a better idea on Monday. In the meantime, hope you have a great weekend!

Oh, good one! I love dreams inside dreams; as a storytelling device and experiencing them as well. There have been times where I think I’ve woken up, did my morning routine, started driving to work, and then realized I was still in my bed dreaming. Gives me a bit of a chuckle when my brain pulls one over on me like that.
It’s too bad Inception did such a good job with that narrative device — then bad writers decided they wanted a piece of the action and made it difficult to find good examples.
That is one heck of a depressing recurring nightmare. 🙁
As for Larry harboring some lust for Stephanie… can you blame him? She is a tall goddess after all, and a total sweetheart to boot.
Depressing? I guess. After all, he did get some kissing.
Just remember what Stephanie said about herself here.
Good points!
Is panel one how Larry normally perceives himself?
Dream Phyl in panel 3 is Awesome. The little quirk of her lip is quite fetching.
Great work, as always. I have enjoyed all of your work that I’ve read, and look forward to much more.
Thanks
I think it all depends on the dream situation. On the beach, he was super buff (at least that’s what I was trying to draw), while here he thinks he’s just woken up.
Thank you. Phyl is very fun to draw. Pity she’s…dead?
Thank you so much! I love writing and drawing GK, and it’s doubly great to hear from you. And you. And, yes, even you.
And even me? But I loved the whole double dream trope!
Just kidding Charlie. I am really enjoying the storyline right now. Dream states are a great way to explore your characters.
That second panel looks great. It can be tricky fading images from one another like that while filling up the space properly. And in black and white no less. And how graphic!
