Yowch. Ah well, she had it coming.
Well, mysteries upon mysteries! Don’t worry, it’ll all become clear in the fullness of time. Meanwhile, it’s back to Larry’s on Friday. With a little Groovy, Kinda craziness to send you off for your weekend!
Oh, Hey-head on over to AndToBeLoved (if you’re not a regular reader) and check out my Guest Strip! It’s got chickens!
And and axe. So, you’ve been warned.
But wait, there’s more! Thomas Overbeck, over at TimesLikeThis, mentions a certain beautiful robot today. Check it out. And check it out ’cause it’s a cool comic too!
Ugh.
Ugh?
I love the third panel. You don’t hear people say eep enough in real life. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone break a ‘crop before. Daaang.
I like Eleanor a lot.
BUT I can’t help but think that her having Edison’s real name is going to cause all manner of trouble.
And Anya is just so gleefully wicked in the second panel. I think it’s the hand rubbing.
THANKS for keeping me entertained. AWESOME work.
That was the new crop Eleanor bought back in “The Importance of Being Eleanor.” It’s had a lot of use, so it was probably pretty worn out.
Eleanor will find out all she can about Edison. And, if she feels that Edison is going to hurt Larry in any way, she’ll use it to protect him. Despite all her selfishness, Eleanor is very protective of her friends.
I love Anya’s look in that panel too. You can almost hear her plotting to forclose on the orphanage’s mortgage.
And the “eep” panel demonstrates my deep and abiding love for Archie Comics.
That’s a very unique way to do a silhouette in panel 9. I quite like it. And I love that little cluster of stars in the bottom corner of pan 4.
Thanks again for the awesome guest strip!
Thank you! I first used it way back in Lyssa and the Pirates.
The stars are fun.
And it was an honor and a pleasure to do a guest strip AndToBeLoved. If I ever get the time, I have another idea…
I am actually very disappointed in Anya right now. While I am glad that Eleanor set her straight, that was a major breach of trust.
As a librarian, Anya would’ve reacted differently with the information. But, since she got it outside of work, and because it was Eleanor who demanded it, she shared it.
I suppose that’s fair.
Venusian cat-girl off the port bow!
With the cream she borrowed the money for in her first appearance!
I was so happy to see her again!
I’m losing the plot again.
Are we supposed to know the old lady?
Why does that… person-thing that looks sorta like a Jim Henson puppet keep showing up randomly?
Is the old lady trying out a gimp-mask or something in panel 9?
Have the two people of ambiguous gender switched roles now, or just switched position?
