Okay, since I seem to be able to draw again, Spring Break is over. Thank you so much for your patience and support. I really missed you and having new comics to share with you.
Speaking of, it looks like Stephanie really can’t help but try to find out what’s going on with Edison. Hmm…
Coming up, we’ll head out of town to…ah well, let’s just say that violence and silliness and romance await. Not necessarily in that order.
That stack of perfectly cubed kholrabi made me giggle. Oh Stephanie, everything you do is gold and don’t even know it.
But don’t think for one second you’ve managed to distract me from what was said in panel 3. The plot thickens!
Yes. Could Stephanie be closer to the mark than she thinks? Or is it something else? Only time (and your humble author) will tell…
(*Whisper* Um, kohlrabi grows on top of the ground like cabbage.)
Your character’s expressions kill me on a regular basis. Panel 4 would be a good example. 😀
It does, and I’ve grown kohlrabi before. I freely admit that I sacrificed accuracy for a nifty title.
Thank you. I’m really proud of Edison’s expression in panel 4. That’s a difficult angle for me to draw.
Love it!
He-hee! Stephanie can be a real showoff sometimes.
Edison…”Memo to self…….be more specific with culinary instructions to Stephanie next time.”
Welcome back Charlie. Missed Ya!
Aw, it’s good to be back!
And poor Edison can’t be expected to think of everything. Besides, no matter what she tells Stephanie to do, Steph will figure out a way to have fun with it. Better to just keep an attitude of wry amusement towards the whole thing.
Steph is both adorable and tenacious (in a sweet way) when she’s curious. Which seems to be a constant state for her. Who is that a picture of on the fridge? I can’t quite tell. (Goes off to Tapastic for larger view)
That’s Lyssa. Larry and Toivo put that up after she disappeared through the discombobulationotron into the Pirate World about two years ago (Groovy, Kinda time).
Stephanie is very curious about humans. Maybe we’ll understand more if we ever see her home world…
That’s like the third tallest Kålrabi tower I’ve ever seen! I like how, when Edison asks her to stop the interrogation, Steph switches from questions to statements, but basically stays here course. But she’s so earnest, what’re you gonna do?
Third tallest? Man, you Norwegians sure to love your Kalrabi.
Stephanie is so much fun. If she can’t get the information the direct way, she’ll glean it through conversation.
Or, she would, if Edison wasn’t already aware of her abilities. Or, if Edison had more than two bubbles around her.
But let’s not forget, “People keep telling me things!” Edison may have figured out a way to block Stephanie’s secret power – at least for a while. But if staying only two bubbles drunk is the key, she’s not going to hold out for long. 😛
Aside from a couple of very painful moments, I thought her meeting with Dilbert went rather well, actually, so I’m not sure she’s being particularly honest when she uses “hectic week” as an excuse. I’m with Stephanie. Why doesn’t she want to meet their new/old friends? Or is it just Eleanor she’s avoiding?
Yeah, Edison will have to behave herself as long as she’s around Stephanie. Once they go off to the barbeque however, she’s free to misbehave.
And the meeting went very well. But, what with Dilbert, and Alice, and being in a new town, it was kind of hectic.
And why doesn’t she want to go to the barbeque? Well, we’ll find out soon.
Not immediately, but soon…
