Not the reaction Edison was expecting, that’s for sure.
And Larry has a new car! Not just any car, but an atomabilic hovercar! And one that’s a lot more stable than Geoffrey’s.
Next time-Eleanor explains it all! Well, some of it. And Edison…

Whelp, looks like time for a total reread, from the start is in order. It’s been a while.
Hey jeffepp! Yeah, I was going a long ways back to get the atomabilic hovercar page (still one of the best things I’ve ever drawn), and got sucked in. I need to do a re-read myself.
If you go back, please leave comments!
And Larry gets a sweet ride, which of course will only compound into his growing problems with Stephanie and Edison…
That’s always a possibility.
The best thing about his new sweet ride is that he can finally fit all three of them in the same car. I never did figure out how they all rode in his little roadster.
Eleanor’s hoverecar is more stable than Geoffrey’s because Eleanor is more stable than Geoffrey. Discuss.
Hmmm…I really hadn’t thought of it that way, but you may be on to something. Eleanor, while unpredictable, is generally stable.
I was thinking more along the lines of the hovercars. Geoffrey’s is a smaller, more “sporty” car, while El’s is more the sporty luxury model
Though, if Geoffrey is a tad less stable, consider who he lives with.
Good points, all. Eleanor’s hovercar is what we used to call a land yacht, except of course that it doesn’t actually touch land. Geoffrey’s is much more of a speed boat (one type of which is called a ‘corvette’…) than a yacht.
I wonder if you took Geoffrey’s hovercar out on some lonesome road and really opened it up, would you have to worry about flipping it? I mean, if you’ve got proper shoulder harnesses and as long as you didn’t slide into a tree, wouldn’t you just hang there until somebody came along and helped you flip it back upright?
That’s a good question, Pops. I think the hovercar works on the same principle as the Repelatron. The bottom of the car pushes against the road, which causes lift. But if the car wobbled too much, the “push” wouldn’t work. So one could probably flip the car, ending up with it resting on the hood (and the reinforced windshield). So yeah, you’d be hanging from your harness until some nice folks (or Stephanie by herself) came by to flip your car back over.
