Aaand, we’re back!
Thank you for your patience and your support. Apparently the Artist’s Block has departed, and I used this time to get a couple of strips ahead.
So I can tell you that the Venusian Cat Girl is not a stranger to everyone. You’ll see. Then, Friday, Stephanie and Edison-ah now, that’d be telling, wouldn’t it? You’ll find out in a couple of days, promise.
mannerth, thmannerth. Actions speak louder than words.
Yay, Charlie’s back and didn’t die from eating lutefisk!
So, is it bad manners that makes a Tharban turn on you? 🙂
If I remember correctly, Tharbans are naturally irritable, so bad manners would just make the situation worse.
As they do in real life.
In Edison’s defense, she was just coming downstairs to get a much-needed drink. I know that every time I’ve seen a Venusian Cat Girl sitting at my dining room table early in the morning I’ve been at a loss for words.
Funny, but during your so-called ‘Hiatus’, I took the opportunity to re-read Kinda Groovy from the beginning. What fun! I noticed a Cat Girl quietly wandering through the frames. I also reinforced my appreciation of your rendering style, especially the use of contour lines and stippling to define forms (Edison’s bottom and breasts are wonderful). While I’m on the subject, all of the women’s bodies are all anchored beautiful, sexy, understated reality.
Oh, one more thing, my daughter gave me an Amazon gift card for Christmas and I was able to get all but one of the ‘Pirate’ issues. But I’m certain it’s out there waiting to be found.
Why, thank you!
Sometimes I wonder if I’m making Edison’s, ah, “niceyparts” too good. Then I remember that she has to walk everywhere because she no longer has a driver’s license. So that keeps her in some sort of shape. If only her favorite bar wasn’t in the same building…
That’s great about all the individual issues of “Lyssa and the Pirates!” Let me know which one you need. I just might have a spare issue around.
Yay! Take the artist’s block behind the shed and give it a good kicking. The only language it understands. 🙂
Why ith kithin’ a cat tho thuloppy?
No lipth!
“Thufferin’ Thuccotash”, ith Sylvester’s thister!
