Well, there you go. Problem solved. Or…
…or we’ll find out very soon.
In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it! Personally, I think it should be a universal holiday. A day of getting together with loved ones, eating and being thankful for all the good in your life.
And every day I’m thankful that Groovy, Kinda has such a great community of commenters.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for sharing your thoughts.
P.S Sorry the strip was late. I was working on a Webcomic Underdogs project till late last night, and I, um, well…I forgot.
I don’t recall Robespierre looking so much like a scrotum before.
And a happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I really wish you hadn’t pointed that out. Now I can’t unsee it.
Those are where his eyes are.
Now I cannot unsee that either. Thanks a lot. 🙂
‘sigh’ I’ll redraw it later…
…..and a mental image I could do without.
Thanks
And boil some water! STAT. Is Robes going to be a mom?
Not after NotarySojac’s comment.
My job here is done. Carry on, nurse.
Now I wonder what needs to be cleaned…this is beginning to sound like 1960s British humour.
That’s the best kind!
Come on, everyone, cut Robie some slack. What Larry’s complaining about may have happened when he got zapped. Accidents happen–especially during other accidents.
Excellent point, Delta-v. These things happen.
Of course, it could also be caused by Robespierre’s habit of eating almost anything. And that he’s built so low to the ground.
Which reminds me of a funny and very embarrassing story from back in the day when I played Mercutio in a local production of “Romeo and Juliet.”
But that’s for another time.
Well. And here I was, thinking we’d find out something bad, but instead you find a surprising twist that’s actually good without taking away from the urgency of the situation. Bravo. I never imagined this coming.
Oh, it’s always nice to surprise you, melaredblu. Kind of repaying the favor for all the delightful surprises in Princess Chroma.
And you were expecting something bad? After what the poor Li’l Stinker’s already been through? Heaven forbid.
Have a little faith in Larry. Things will be…well, they’ll be what they’ll be. I don’t want to spoil it.
Argh! I can’t stand waiting for someone else to comment on Larry’s incredibly heroic pose in panel five, while he’s still wearing those *snort, giggle* “Coke bottle” goggles! Another magnificent triumph, Charlie, my sides are still hurting. 😀
He-hee! I’m glad you caught that.
Yeah, I was channeling my inner Jim Starlin/Steve Ditko/Jack Kirby there. Plus, Larry’s such a nerd that he’d strike comic book pose without even thinking twice.
Between it being Larry, and wearing those glasses, it just doesn’t have the same “save the universe” urgency.
