They wanted to do this from the moment they first saw one another.
Coming up-shouting! Interruptions! Cameos! And the return of…well, you’ll see.

That’s what I was hoping to see. It’s always so heartwarming when two people can overcome a bad past in order to create a better future.
Exactly as I pictured you would do it.
Absolutely perfect.
Silent pages are my FAVORITE. Especially when there is so much emotion.
One Thousand Words, boiled down into :-
“I’m so sorry”,
“It’s OK”
and finally “Ease my Pain!”
Charlie, hits top marks as a storyteller once again.
You just described that better than I ever could.
BUT, Will this new found reconcile survive Alice and/or Betsy and/or the freezer door!!!!!
just kidding . . .?
However, it is a touching moment.
Wait, is that gray? Is this the first time you’ve ever used grey, or am I completely off?
Gorgeous page once more, by the way.
That is indeed gray, my friend. I tried using halftones early in the strip, and they looked terrible.
The last panel was going to be in glorious color, but it just didn’t work, so I went with grays instead. Except for using a pattern fill now and again, this is the first time I’ve used grays (I think).
I like how they look, but I don’t think I’ll use them much in the future. Part of the fun of GK is the line and stipple shading.
I’m glad that you used the grays because they look amazing! Ah, I’m so happy they were able to reconcile!
Beautiful. It doesn’t have any words because it doesn’t need any. You sell it perfectly.
Thank you. Yeah, there just weren’t any words for this one.
