Ah, the very essence of sweetness and light that is our Eleanor. What a lovely vision, first thing in the morning.
She certainly couldn’t have an ulterior motive-not this early.Or could she?
Oh heck, you know the answer to that just as well as I do. But what does she want? And will she get it?
You’ll find out in the next exciting episode!
I think this might be one of the funniest Eleanor pages I’ve seen. I may not like how she acts, but darned if her sarcastic wit doesn’t keep growing on me. I love her hunting gear, too. I wonder what exactly she plans to use that grenade on.
Fishing.
She’s gonna need a bigger boat, then.
Very Big Rabbits or mice.
Of all things, hunting? What could she possibly get out of it? Some alone time to evaluate his worthiness for her friend? And the option for an accident occuring should he not be?
“I swear, the rifle had a life of its own, officer.”
At first it was a way to entertain Allen. He’s pretty much illiterate, and he probably wouldn’t appreciate television, so what to do with him?
And it is a chance for some alone time to evaluate him.
Sure, Lyssa might think he’s the best thing since sliced bread, but only Eleanor can judge what’s best for everyone else, right?
And if Allen didn’t make the grade?
Maybe that’s what the grenades are for.
I wonder if she’s considered the possibility of this turning into a “witch” hunt?
I believe you may have misspelled “witch.” By one letter.
Hee, hee, hee. You know me too well. ๐
Great look for Eleanor…
Thank you! Paratrooper boots and plaid pants, with lots and lots of ammunition. It suits her.
Eleanor and guns, uhm…
Man, does she have a sarchastic streakยก
Well, this is the Eleanor we al love to hate he he
There’s just something about writing Eleanor.
I was worried that she might be a little too abrasive, but then I remembered who this was.
At least Anya appreciates her sarcasm…
Heh. You missed the little bit of drool that should be hanging from Anya’s lower lip. Thank you for that – it’s not an attractive look. ๐
Lyssa without glasses and a friendly smile is … different. Very different. But I really like the way you show us how well she knows Eleanor – to recognize that as flirting … not they way *I* would have interpreted it. Also Allen doesn’t appear to be susceptible to it – which is both like and unlike Nelson. We’ve seen Toivo and his “twin” meet – I’m quite looking forward to seeing Nelson and Allen meet – not to mention Reade’s take on him. This has all the earmarks of a WONDERFUL storyline. ๐
Ah yes, Allen and Nelson. I’ve been thinking about that one. It may take a while, but we’ll get around to that one.
I’m glad you noticed that about Lyssa-she knows exactly what Eleanor is doing.
And, those of you who’ve read “The Adventures of Lyssa and the Pirates” know that there’s a Pirate Queen Eleanor in their world. And Allen knows her only too well.
Just wanted to say I LOVE this page. That is all.
Coming from you, Andy, that is more than enough!
For those of you who don’t know, Andy is the creator of “I, Mummy,” one of my all-time favorite comics ever in the world.
