Ha-ha! I’m sure Eleanor knew that Stephanie would protect Larry from all the stuff she dropped.
No, really.
Either way, he’s safe for now. But how is he going to “handle Eleanor?” And what did Esther say?
Ah, well, you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!
Oh, and I’d just like to go on record as saying I did all that cursive lettering from memory…
I mean, Eleanor did show signs of being a protective mother before, when her daughter had that sleepover. But I have to wonder about her aim with that piano. That was either the most magnificent intentional near-miss of all time, or Larry got really lucky just now.
Poor piano. It doesn’t look so grand anymore.
hi, I forget, did Eleanor get custody of Esther or is she fostering her? I do not remember where in the series did it happen. Of course, she could have sent Larry a Strongly Worded Letter. However, this was faster and her point better. Nice hit on the car though.
Some childhood skills are never forgotten, but given our paper and pen – less world it’s good to see old skills emerge. Love the piano keys!
Practice practice practice. It was fun!
I’m glad about the piano keys. I wasn’t sure if they would look right.
“Ah, well, you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!”
That’s more than you can say for the piano…
What’s cursive?
Ha-ha, I kid! I kind of wish I still knew how to make my cursive look midly legible.
And Eleanor is not the “fire a warning shot across your bow” kinda gal, is she? More like “fire directly at your bow”, and leave you to count yourself lucky if it hits above the water line.
Ha! Do they even have cursive writing in Norway?
Actually, my town owes its name to a Norwegian’s cursive skills (or lack thereof).
In 1886, Ivar Moe, our postmaster, applied to have the mail delivered to what was soon going to be our town. He wanted it to be named after his home town, Paulsbo, Norway.
He wrote the town’s name three times on the application.
The first time, he connected the “a” to the “u” by going across the top, rather than dropping the line down. That made the “a” an “o.”
The other two times he did it correctly, but they only counted the first time.
And that’s why there is no other town on Earth named “Poulsbo.”
Eleanor didn’t really want to hurt Larry. She might’ve damaged the letter. Also, Stephanie wouldn’t let anything bad happen to him. She’d get him out of the way. And she might throw something back!
Love “flamingo dancers”, hearts and all.
BTW, is that Larry’s car under that poor piano..?
Or did poor Simon take another “lucky” hit..?
I think Simon only parks in covered parking these days. Or he will when his car comes back from the shop.
Might be faster, cheaper and safer, to total is car (sigh), and replace it with something more sensible i.e. a Light Tank or an Armored Personnel Carrier or an Armored Hummer. Nothing too flimsily.
At least, Eleanor thanked the piano’s owner and did not push him out. . .yet.
My ‘Kim’s Ride’ is almost finished. Pictures tomorrow on DA.
Simon might want to look into Uber…
Who knew that Esther had such a romantic soul?
Considering what we’ve seen Stephanie do to a blimp Eleanor may be behaving even more recklessly than she knows. 🙂
Is there a parking lot on the top of the building, or did I miss something?
There is now.
And Stephanie could blow up an airship, if she had one of those magical blue thingies. What are they, anyway?
Given that it’s a Sampson Enterprises product, I’d guess that it’s a miniaturized thermonuclear device. ^^
How about something explosive, very explosive.
Hey, I got an idea may Simon can get a ride from Kim. The craft can be armed. Yeah, I got it done!!! The BOP will be done, Next Week and will packed away for TusCon42. The Good news, I will not miss a single Groovy.
Thanks for reminding me the nightmare that was to reading and writing cursive. I am very happy that computers got popular so I had no need to turn in hand-written assignments.
