I blame the brain tumor.
Huh. So, Larry had more to do with getting the discombobulationotron running than we thought. This could be important later.
Speaking of later, there’s a super-special surprise coming your way next week! Do stay tuned, won’t you?
I know I haven’t been posting as regularly as we would all like, and I apologize. It’s been a couple tough weeks, art-wise.
But I think we’re back on track!
Thank you for your support.
There are friends, and friends who have your back.
Larry’s one of the latter and despite everything Eleanor knows it.
Which is why I kinda suspect she set Larry & Edison up in the beginning.
Ya Think!!! Yet Eleanor in her own way wants Larry to be happy with someone. One question, How did she get off the Blimp so fast?
I don’t know if she was trying to set him up. She wanted her guest (even an uninvited one) to get home safely, and she wanted Larry gone when the orgy started.
Once he and Edison fell in love, however, Edison came under Eleanor’s protection. Which isn’t always a good thing, as we’ve seen.
And El is very aware of how much she owes to Larry. It’s more than we thought at first.
“Who has two thumbs and _________________? This guy!”
At least he saw it coming.
Imagine if it was the Spanish Inquisition. No one expects them.
I kind of like the half-sarcastic, half-sincere nature of his thumbscrew comment. It makes you wonder if that might actually be standard procedure for her.
Only Larry could make drooling in one’s sleep somehow adorable. Poor lil’ sleepy baby.
Yeah, he was working hard. Of course, with a taskmaster like Eleanor spurring you on…
And doesn’t he look cute?
The thumbscrew line was pure Larry, all the way. Of course, I wouldn’t put it past Elenaor to actually have some in a drawer somewhere.
The evolution of Eleanor! Hey Charlie, that’s really good: seeing the transition with wealth and power.
Larry is “that” friend. I’m glad Eleanor values it.
She really does.
Just because Eleanor doesn’t have much of a conscience, doesn’t mean she hasn’t a heart.
I was about to call him an enabler. But that would suggest that Eleanor ever needed anyone’s assistance or permission. And that’s plainly not true. For somone you’d think would be predictable though, she has a remarkable knack for surprising you. She really is one of the best characters you’ve made.
“Betrayal” seems to be one of those concepts that Eleanor views as having a certain ….. elasticity. 😉
Exactly. And “Betray” is something other people do.
Eleanor is merely attempting to gather all the facts before making an informed decision.
And when it comes to betraying others, well, remember Otter’s words to Flounder, following their disastrous road trip in “Animal House.”
Hi, I like Eleanor’s fondness for her friends. Her enemies really do not like her. Eleanor will not be stopped by No One.
BTW, I have finished an published my Romulan BOP and I like it. Be warned, The BOP’s crew were not happy with the situation.
Eleanor is fiercely protective of her friends-though that never stopped her from giving them a hard time, especially if she feels that it’s “for their own good, dear.”
The BOP is beautiful, scifijoe! I can see how the crew might not’ve liked your, ah, additions. But hey, love and war, right?
Yes, that describes Eleanor to a “T”. Although, I must admit just how much her tumor is how affecting her and her actions?
p.s. The Romulan crew found out that primitive proximity fuse mines Can Kill You. Lack of oxygen/Plasma leak flash can too.
Then why did she drop a piano in his general direction? Talk about mixed messages!
Oh, that’s just Eleanor. She’s mostly playing. It’s her way of saying “this is important to me, darling.”
And it’s probably been a while since she last pushed someone else’s piano out of an airship.
