Wow! My 75th strip (counting #31, which was a little too racy, and that one I didn’t publish ’cause it wasn’t very funny)!
Since I’m way ahead on comics (not something I’ll say again, I’m sure), I’ll post every weekday next week. That’ll give you lots of groovy goodness.
I love the art in this comic. I am automatically drawn to black and white comics, ESPECIALLY webcomics. I really like the books in the background of this specific strip – they remind me of Gerhard’s library book backgrounds in Cerebus. Nice job!
Hey, thank you! Funny thing-I just discovered your fine comic about two days now. It’s really nice (check the link)!
Cerebus! That’s praise indeed. Some of the nicest b&w comic art ever.
Don’t mention it. I really appreciate black and white comics, and thanks for the kind words about my own.
Cerebus is my all time fave comic, and I’m lucky enough to have some original art from Dave Sim himself (not pages from the book, but head sketches and preliminaries, that sort of stuff) I recently found Gerhard’s blog which has some amazing stuff: http://www.gerhardart.com/
Amazing is an understatement!
I look at stuff like that and flash to Wayne’s World: “We’re not worthy!”
Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing that.
I could say something about pearl necklaces, but I’ll withhold…
