Now Larry’s mad, Edison’s glad, and Miffy’s getting all Venusian and Cat Girlish and stuff.
Friday, you’ll see part of something that you never thought you’d see. And maybe you might wish you’d never seen it in the first place. Either way, you’ll have to wait and see.
And then next week, something even more shocking. Promise. Plus, bacon. I can say no more.
“And maybe you might wish you’d never seen it in the first place.”
Thanks for the warning!
“Thufferin’ Thuccotash”, ith Sylvester’s thister!
I think that Cathmilinda ith a thimply thtupendouth name.
It would be horrible if Edison found she was drinking too much, hmmm?
I googled “Casmilinda” and the first hit was Groovy, Kinda. Then I googled “Cathmilinda” and your post was the only hit!
About once a year Edison checks herself into rehab, just to give her liver a rest (and remind herself how much she likes drinking). That’s where she met Phyl, as a matter of fact. I suppose that if she thought she was drinking too much she’d go ahead with the already scheduled rehab on the tropical island.
OK, one very modest and perhaps singular dislike of the Venusian cat-girl. But, the whole Miffy thing has been building for some time, so I am trusting Charlie’s excellent storytelling on this one.
Well, that Miffy, she’s kind of a cat with delusions of grandeur*, so I understand completely.
*I mean, delusions of grandeur to a greater extent than cats normally have.
In the first panel . . . is that bruise on Edison’s neck?
Subtle, but funny.
That’s a little something she and Larry gave each other. It’s mentioned here.
“You have a ‘love bite’ on your neck; put some makeup on that thing” (Moonstruck).
This story is much more fun if the reader is attentive to even the smallest details in the continuity. Pay attention, people!
