Naw, they wouldn’t really do something like that. Would they? I mean, sure, Captain Eleanor and our Eleanor don’t get along, but still…
And great timing, Stephanie.
Stick around. We’ll probably resolve everything next time!
Probably.
UPDATE: Or, maybe not. Sorry about this, but the strip is still in production. I’ll get it done as quickly as I can. Thanks for your patience.
You cannot draw and post fast enough to keep up with how much I want to find out what happens next! (But, hey, no pressure….)
If my scanner doesn’t die on me, I’ll get it posted on time!
Eleanor, speechless? Stephanie has performed a miracle. ^^
Well, at least up until the point where she mentioned “date”……
Stephanie can get away with stuff that nobody else would dare pull with Eleanor.
Oh wow. She actually walked right into it, huh. Well, I suppose keeping it a secret could come back to bit them again. But what now? We have no idea what Edison is walking through that door. Hoo boy.
I’m not 100% sure of the reading order of the panels but after rearranging them in my head a couple of times I decided it didn’t really make a huge difference. Though having the top right panel BEFORE the bottom center/right panel does cause a certain amount of speculation. But it makes more sense (reaction-wise) to have the top-right panel last.
I admit to being a wee bit concerned about the absence of Ms. Pipkin.
It also dawned on Larry that he was on a date. After all this time he should be used to his… peculiar situation… but this is Larry we are talking about.
And it is indeed fun to see Eleanor baffled for once!
