Well, if she’s thinking what I think she’s thinking, I sure hope it turns out better than the last time. And that she remembers it afterward.
Happy Friday! Monday, Larry and the cub-I mean, Stephanie, go shopping. I think it’s safe to say that hijinks will ensue. Doncha dare miss it!
We never did find out what happened during Stephanie’s meltdown, did we?
Well, Stephanie’s meltdowns are usually pretty self-contained. She’s not one for big scenes. Edison and Larry reassured her that things were okay, they gave her a book of kittens, and Edison put her to bed.
Pudding would’ve helped.
Well, considering that Stephanie’s finger was aflame and Edison’s shocked reaction, I was thinking something more along the lines of the T-1000. Maybe it turned out not to be as bad as all that. 🙂
More like a T-999. Order now and a second one for only shipping and handling costs.
Yikes! Two Stephanies?
That could be kind of…awesome, actually.
I wonder if Stephanie had a pre-discombobulationotron ‘family’. Her meltdown made me think of Murphy’s unexpected flashback in ‘Robocop’. Perhaps her entrance into our world was an ‘escape to innocence’. Wow, I just said ‘our world’.
“I wonder which world is ‘our world’.”
“What?”
“Which world is this?”
“You’re not from around here, are you?”
“Where . . . ? ”
An’ why wuz the phone inna middle of th’floor?
alpha dog, leader of the pack? larry’s getting a bit above himself eh?
He’s not fooling anyone, least of all himself.
Edison sure isn’t taking him seriously.
Of course, he is the only one in the household with a driver’s license.
uh-oh. “Family” and “phone” wasn’t a good combo last time. Doubt it will be better on this go.
Oh, don’t be such a Gloomy Gus. She’s hardly drunk this time. Of course, Dilbert will remember the last call, even if she doesn’t.
Anyway, it’ll be a while before you find out, ’cause we’re going grocery shopping with Larry and Stephanie tomorrow!
“Pyte Fang?” If that’s a ‘Soupy’ reference, Larry needs a white fur coat (Faux fur, of course). RUFF!
I hadn’t thought about Soupy Sales when I wrote it. But you’re not the first person to notice the resemblance.
“Pookie!”
“he is the only one in the household with a driver’s license.”
