Well now. What does Stephanie want to know? And why does she want to know it in private? And what’s Reade making for dinner?
I’m sorry to leave you in suspense (but you’re more than welcome to speculate here!), but the next strip won’t be until next Friday. I have work to do at my bookstore, so I’ll be too busy building shelves and fixing up the place to do much drawing. I apologize, and, in the meantime, check back, because I may post some other cool stuff that I think you’ll like.
Thank you for your patience. You’re the best.
“You see, Stephanie…when a man and a woman love each other VERY much…”
Reade now that’s a great name for a book store owner, but is her daughter called Paige?
And her son could be named Bachman.
I so wanted to be the one with the “Paige” comment after I read the comic. I suppose “Waffle” might also work, and also contains a double meaning.
We’ll miss ya, Charlie! Hurry back.
Oh, please! Apologizing for a brilliant cliff hanger? Methinks thou dost protest too much. And further, methinks the ear-to-ear grin I heareth in thy words dost also give thee away. 🙂
Forsooth!
I am glad that Stefanie realizes that an opinion from a third-party might be wise. I am sure she’s having a hard enough time trying to sort out her emotions.
