Nice to see having a brain tumor hasn’t dampened Eleanor’s…spirits. And my gosh. That outfit. I’ve never seen an outfit meant to be sexy that amused me this much. The best part simply has to be her hair. Hot lady clown outfit? I’m guessing Anya approved.
Recovered maybe, in her right mind. . .
two words: OH S***!!!!! Eleanor reminds me of the Joker and not in a good way either.
Larry better get down there. . . .quick.
Before Anya REALLY gets hurt.
You have a point, HOWEVER, Eleanor is NOT in her right mind. At that moment, looking at her face. That is not just lust but a look of wanting to hurt someone quite badly. If she does hurt her, she will have crossed a line that she may not have intended to, if she was in a healthily state of mind.
Rant on, BTW, I Do Not Like BDM, at all. If one has to inflict pain to their partner to get off, that is not something, I want to see or read. There is no joy or beauty just cruelty in the guise of pleasure seeking. Rant off.
Eleanor is a Dominatrix, always has been. That’s how she treated Amy, that’s how she treated Anya, that’s how she was treating the Dubbleman twins. It’s part of the humor she brings to the comic.
Charlie references it, but outside as slap on the butt, or a pie toss, he doesn’t show it.
And for that I am grateful.
Considering all that I have seen or read, that is about is what truly disturbs me.
However, the rest of Groovy is a joy to read.
Ho-boy. Eleanor makes a very intimidating clown. Closer to the horror movie side of the clown spectrum than the birthday party category. I bet she threw the pie just so she could, um, help clean up. Ahem.
Cleaning up is a big part of the fun. That’s why the pies are always Eleanor’s favorite flavor.
As far as clowns go, there’s the horror side, there’s the birthday party/circus side, and then, waaaay off in the corner, there’s Anya’s side.
When I see clowns in this comic, I become afraid…and now Eleanor is a clown so who knows what will happen? I guess it’s a good thin Anya doesn’t have any neighbors too close by.
They were supposed to look like devil’s horns. I doubt that Eleanor would even know who Wolverine was.
Larry, on the other hand, would feel as you do, Neil.
There’s no figuring that woman out, is there. One moment, she’s on her last legs, the next she’s indulging in all kinds of delightful preversions. She demands to be in charge of the situation, even with a potentially lethal disease to contend with. She’s a rare breed, indeed.

No, no…check out the strip here: http://groovykinda.org/comic/greasepaint-by-numbers/
Clowns turn Anya on – big time.
My fave is “Beyond the Red Nose”…

Good point. Here’s Anya’s view.

Now that’s what you call a face full of Pie!
Well, she’s already had a face full of Pye.
Ka-Zing!
Ladies and Gentlemen, today’s Groovy, Kinda is dedicated to the Mighty Delta-v.
Well played, my friend, well played. Take a cyber-bow!
Aaaw, shucks! *Blushes becomingly* ‘Twarn’t nuthin’.
Buh-dum-tssh!
I like the clown heels. Better than the size 57 clodhoppers you might see elsewhere.
He-hee. They were a lot of fun to draw. I can’t imagine how she’d walk in them. But then, she probably doesn’t have to walk much in them anyway.

I am so glad I clicked on the link for this comic. Eleanor is just… awesome.
I’m glad you did too! Welcome to Groovy, Kinda!
Stick around-I think you’ll like our crazy cast of characters, and our crazy cast of commenters.
When I see clowns in this comic, I become afraid…and now Eleanor is a clown so who knows what will happen? I guess it’s a good thin Anya doesn’t have any neighbors too close by.
Bright colors and pointed hair; she’s both a clown and a Wolverine! Now my hormones are all confused.

“Force of nature,” were your exact words, if I remember correctly. Yes indeedy-do.
Nothing says true lust like a pie in the kisser…
