Well, Larry and Stephanie do get up to some hijinks in the mysterious Building 7, don’t they? Poor Edison.
In case you’re wondering what a Blinky Bye Bye is, there’s a clue here.
Also, the restaurant is named after the famous (or infamous) Space Pirate from the fine webcomic “Uncle Robot Presents.” Check out the link to the right.
Happy Monday! Coming up, it’s back to work time for these three. Not in the same place, of course. But Edison has some paintings to finish.
And, I’m working on a surprise that I think you’ll really like! More news to follow.
Hints of classic sci-fi pulp? 🙂
Anyway, don’t they also make them sign nondisclosure agreements? But then, I suppose they can get away with this by being extremely vague.
I don’t suppose we’ll ever know what they mean by “they went blinky bye byes”? A shame as I’d love to hear more. 😛 (Does this refer to experiment(s) where an object or critter is phased into another dimension or disintegrated, raygun-style? How was it horrible? Did the bulk of the animal evaporate, leaving behind legs or a bloody husk?)
And what’s this about a guy who “got his genes spliced to a giant…” something? My interpretation of that is having someone’s DNA added to a giant creature. While the result may be freaky or grotesque, how would that directly impact the guy who accidentally “donated” the DNA? The other interpretation may be that the guy got physically fused into/with a giant creature – like a man/elephant centaur hybrid or chimera. But that’s not what’s (directly) implied here.
‘Splody Booms Stephanie near the Chem Lab again? No wonder Edison’s after a couple of doubles…………
Talking of Edison and doubles, She’s in the e-Post.
A vintage ‘Splody Boom.
We can only hope to see Stephanie’s hair look like that again.
Dun dun DUUUUUUN dun – SCIENCE!
I didn’t know that Vorto the Pirate had a dining establishment? I guess you have to diversify these days.
Oh, you remember Vorto’s. It’s on that street with all the famous webcomic characters.
Oh my gracious! How could I forget.
Oh, man. I’ve been Edison in conversations like this sooo many times.
That sounds kind of scary.
Charlie; Thanks for the picture posting. I’m please but embarrassed at the same time.
BUT looks like comments link is stuffed on todays page.
It keeps looping back to the Archives.
Okay, I deleted the whole comic and started over. Near as I can tell, Worthlee-I mean, WordPress was just doing its “Randomly Change” thing again.
By the way, I love the portraits!
