It’s fun to go inside my character’s heads. Comics are such a flexible medium. They let me get away with just about anything.

Remember, she really does love Anya, in her own Eleanor way. And hearing that her lover/slave is really a queen is quite a shock.

Well, her parents were kind of okay with it at first. She’s off in America, you know, so there’s not much they can do. One of the reasons they wanted her to go to America was that she could learn about democracy and stuff.
But now that it’s beginning to look serious, they have to step in. Fun’s fun, but this is monarchical succession we’re talking about.
