Oh that Mrs. Flintensteel. She’s just full of surprises, isn’t she.
Well, if it keeps children from getting eaten…
But how is this going to affect Storytime? Ah, we shall see what we shall see. Next time!

Hi, Look out for the quiet librarians, they are the most dangerous.
She Really scared Caliban!!!
Sorry, that I haven’t posted much at DA but I am working out a builders block.
Oh man, I feel your pain.
It happens, and sometimes all we can do is spoil ourselves until the block goes away.
If nothing else, it’s a good excuse to spoil yourself. Doesn’t take away the frustration, but it can be fun.
This has nothing to do with Groovy, when when I saw this in “Scenes From A Multiverse” by Jonathan Rosenberg, I thought of Anya. I just wanted to share.

That is too perfect. Anya would definitely approve.
Thank you for that!
I both really want to know and really don’t want to know what it is she cut off of unruly patrons. I’m kind of surprised that Anya doesn’t know what she said, though. I would have expected her of all people to know the drill, but I suppose it only make sense that she has some unexpected items left in her bag of tricks.
He-hee. Oh, Mrs. Flintensteel has some very unexpected items left to show Anya.
Someday I might do that storyline…
She didn’t say “off of” – she said “OUT of” and I think it’s safe to say Mrs. Flintensteel is very precise in her word choice.
This doesn’t make it better, mind you….
Oh yes, Mrs. Flintentseel is very precise in her word choices. And her employees and patrons are very careful to listen to every word.
Most of the time she’s very supportive and helpful, though.
I think you misspelled the word “Mangler” on her office door. 😉
She would be the first to tell you that a good manager has a variety of tools to “inspire” her employees and patrons.
A cup of chamomile tea here, a thinly veiled threat of vivisection there…
