Okay, I know I hinted at silly. But then I started in on this, and thought it’d be nice to just show Anya being nice.
I was gonna have Reade say at the end: “She doesn’t deserve her,” but I figured that was self-evident.
And I did put some chicken in there, just for you, Uncle Delta!
How to get a story across without words.
(Over 4000 in this case.)
Mike! Hi!
Yeah, I decided to go with minimal words on this. I toyed with the idea of (off-camera) having Anya pull the cork and hit Eleanor, but I didn’t want to go silly this time.
Oh, you chracter! You managed to deliver, but….. I think the chicken has to still be alive for maximum mirth (although fried is delicious). ^^
Besides, a picnic basket must contain at least some fried chcken–it’s like a tradition that approaches being a law. 🙂
True, and the ants would show up after a while too.
I really miss the chickens, now that I think of it!
I love silent panels!
Chickens can be a lot of fun. We have two (one passed away in my arms last week).
And silent panels are the best.
Charlie, you’re a master of the subtle, sentimental strip. This is really good!
Also, nice Uncle Delta shoutout!
Aw, thanks, mj! I wanted to show that Anya knows Eleanor can’t go in to the hospital, and that she’s there to support her. No words needed, really.
And making shoutouts to the best commenting community ever is fun.
Oh, dear. Somebody appears to be stress eating.
