Now that’s a scary image.
Heed this warning: there are some things Science was not meant to attempt.
Coming up, Larry and Stephanie attempt some of the other things Science was not meant to…well, you know.
It’s discombobulationtronin’ time!
UPDATE: Andy P. over at I, Mummy, has started his long-awaited Chapter Two! It’s a great time to get acquainted with a great comic, so head on over!
As part of the 2015 Webcomic Underdog’s Secret Santadog Exchange, the mighty Jakob Nelson from Arthopping, sent me this wonderful rendering of the world’s most adorable robot:
Isn’t that wonderful? Can you guess what kind of book it is? I just love it! Thank you, Jakob, you are the best!
So, I did a little something for Charil, over at Clockwork Atrium. It was a lot of fun, and it gave me a chance to rediscover one of my favorite comics.
Happy Holidays, you wonderful reader, you! I hope it’s a great time.
You’d think Robie wouldn’t want anything looking at or even remotely near that portion of his anatomy considering what happened earlier today.
Hey! Looks like the Chroma doll export went swimmingly! Won’t she be excited to hear about that!
All the cool kids are carryin’ ’em!
Robie would’ve thrown something at Simon, but the only thing he was holding was a doughnut. And there’s no way he’d willingly give that up.
A really funny touch, Charlie.
Melaredblu, we over here in the UK use the first two fingers, nails towards someone, in the V shape to give someone a “Travel Instruction”.
That’s what I thought it was first off.
Sadly time and work have prevented me doing a Seasonal FANART piece in time for Christmas……But I’m off work now until 12th night! Smirk
1 – I was an only child and that was pretty much my reaction when my parents asked if I would like a brothe or sister. Only not in such physical terms…
2 – I can not make out what the lady with the paisley tie is holding in the first panel.
3 – Steph’s little reverie in panel 2 is the most adorable tentacle porn I’ve ever seen.
I hope Simon takes the hint. If Stephanie has to step in, her answer might not be as insulting, but it will certainly be more painful. 🙂
“That’s no moon…”
…what???
Judging by the way he’s using Larry as a human shield, I think it’s safe to say Simon isn’t quite as clueless as you first described him. At the very least, his survival instincts kicked in to SOME degree.
And that appears to be a “paint-by-numbers” paisley tie – I love the concept. Or did I just come up with it because I couldn’t see it properly?
Let’s see. One of them is eating all the pudding. One of them has apparently stolen his Teddy Bear. One of them has hold of his doughnuts. I’m not sure about the others, especially that one in the upper right corner of the thought bubble. He’s obviously stretched out a bit but I can’t figure out what he’s clinging to – on either end… Also, what’s on the paper(?) sign they appear to be lifting up in the middle of all that?
The Archie tribute is phenomenal. That, sir, was a labor of true love. The details that make it look so … proper … just blow my mind.
Ah, Tru, you do my heart proud.
It does look like Baltimore’s wearing a “paint-by-numbers” paisley tie, doesn’t it? I hadn’t thought of it like that, but you’re right. The whole time I was drawing it I was remembering Stephanie’s line about paisleys.
As for the multiple Robies-a whole bunch of them are covered in pudding. The one hanging from the rafters is lifting up a chocolate covered doughnut, while the rest ransack the box. The one to the right of dream Robie is eating an apple fritter.
And the one to his left has torn the head off his beloved teddy bear!
The Archie/Clockwork Atrium cover was a labor of love, and a whole lot of fun to make. You may have noticed a certain, ah, influence in my storytelling. I love Betty & Veronica comics, and this was a chance to mix that with one of my favorite webcomics. I’m glad you like it.
It’s not that he has no self-preservation instincts, it’s whether the ones he has can keep him from making the fatal mistake of trying to steal a sample when he thinks Stephanie isn’t looking.
He’d get a lot further in his quest if he offered to use his research to replace the nanobots that Stephanie lost when she was dragged through the Discombobulationotron.
Now, that is a brilliant idea, Delta-v.
There she is. Love her attire. But what’s that inside her jacket? Hmmm.
Robie has certainly developed a knack for inaudible communication. I was the V thing like Dragonsreach, but the reaction to it suggest something ruder. So much good crossover goodness to, those are both fantastic. I think the secret santa thing turned out great this year.
By the way, there needs to start a mass-productions of dolls and plushies soon. You and mel are leaving money on the table. 🙂
I’m so glad you like her. She was a lot of fun to draw. And whatever that is under her jacket, she’s got one on the other side as well.
I think if he was doing Dragonsreach’s “V,” he’d be facing away, wouldn’t he? So yeah, this is much ruder. But then, Robespierre’s not famous for his manners.
I think the 2014 Secret Santadog crossover was a huge success. We had a lot of newbies take part, and they did great stuff.
You’re right about the dolls and plushies. I can get Robie plushies anytime-my friend will make them for me-I just need to get an online store going.
Maybe next year.
