Ha-ha! Oh, what a bunch of sillies they are.
So, Monday, there’ll be a surprise. I can’t say much more, because I don’t know what it is myself. It might be the strip I’ve been trying to draw for over a week now, it might be something completely different. We’ll see. In the meantime, I hope you have a swell weekend!
Kinda think that was a helluva distraction, but Stephanie might consider it a waste of pudding.
Been loving the side story.
Loved the interview you linked to as well, ’77 was a good year!
“wacky”
Heh.
Surprises? Exciting…
This page makes me feel like I’ve just finished watching a webcomic sitcom.
Can’t wait to see what happens.
Now that you mention it, it does look like a sitcom episode. I like it. Maybe that’s a good way to go-just a three or four page self-contained storyline.
Right after I wrap up the other ones…
I love that she lights her cigs the same way as RPG Toivo. Maybe that’s where she learned it.
She’s been doing it for a while. Kind of freaked Anya out, the first time she saw it.
These 3 pages looked sooo good in the WU Anthology. I do hope that someday you’ll consider printing G,K even if it’s just print on demand. The art is not done proper justice just being online.
Yeah. Didn’t it turn out nicely?
By the way, if you would like a print copy, and you should, because it has some mighty fine stuff from mighty fine creators, you can get it here.
Thank you for the link to the anthology, Charlie!
Mmmm pudding. The ultimate of distractions.
Especially the way Anya fixes it.
What? She’s a master at cooking. Sheesh!
I just noticed on the last panel, where is Anya’s top?
What did she DO?
Mmmmm … Anya’s very special distraction pudding … just what a growing young man needs to relieve his tensions when the grown-up’s fight.
I had managed to forget (in just a few days?) that this was a substitution for the on-going storyline and was completely bewildered by the Groovy, Kinda ad at the bottom – it was such a complete non sequitur inside the comic itself and I had to read the comments to finally remember. Silly me.
I now admit to also being confused as to how many people do or don’t know Steph isn’t human.
Larry knew from the start; Toivo told Prospero here; Anya found out here, and Edison found out somewhere along the way.
Despite almost the entire cast knowing, it’s still supposed to be a secret.
Jacob almost guessed it here.
