    If leaning to the side causes the car to fly off the road, what kind of nut would buy it? what kind of nut would sell it (lawsuits)? what kind of nut would legalize it (road safety laws)?

      Rich nuts, of course. To be fair, Larry isn’t as good a driver as he may have led Edison to believe. Plus, it was all kinds of fun to draw.

    If Larry learned to drive from Eleanor. She either got distracted or figured that Larry should NOT drive Hover cars
    Personally, I think it was the latter.

    So they live in a world with hover-cars, but not the means to keep them consistently stable?

    Don’t we already have the latter technology in our world, even in the absence of the former?

      There’s probably some “auto-stability” switch on the dashboard, but, since Larry isn’t terribly familiar with hover-cars, he missed it.
      It’s like that lever on the steering wheel that signals when you want to make a turn. You’d be surprised at how many people don’t know about it.
