Looks like Simon might leave Robespierre alone from now on.
I can’t take credit for the “Ear Muffs” line.* Stephanie wrote that. She just comes up with this stuff and I have no choice but to illustrate it.
And Rad Sampson seems to be as concerned about Stephanie as Eleanor is. Maybe they both know something..?
*I know that sounds crazy. I did come up with the line. But it sure feels like she wrote it.
All things considered, his car could have ended up in so much worse shape.
Stephanie, never stop being amazing.
“I have this terrible headache…it feels like my head was in a vise…”
What gets me is that they are in the Blimp and the Wrench is in mid air!
Was Stephanie Juggling?
I’m wondering if the next title will be “Spanner in the Works”?
It leads me to wonder; are they concerned for her, or for the danger she could potentially pose. It’s not that long ago she did air the thought of enslaving humanity. 🙂
But, no. Look at that last panel. She’s too adorable to do that. And even if, you know, would it be that bad to have her as supreme robot ruler of the earth?
yes.
Yes, but if we were going to have a Supreme Robot Ruler of the Earth, Stephanie would be a good candidate.
Imagine a Robotic Emperor Eleanor.
Yipe!!!!
Though, to be fair, Stephanie would have a lovely smile on her as she would someone in half.
Love the wrench falling away in panel four, presumably Stephanie just got in the way? Thinking about Hjels’point, Eleanor could use a robotic sidekick if vampires are about…but I may be getting ahead of myself.
We shall see what we shall see.
Stephanie was playing with the monkey/pipe wrench. I was going to have her balance it on her nose, but then she came up with the “Ear Muffs” line.
And we all know how good she is at throwing things at airships.
Wow, look at that car; Eleanor throws a mean pipe wrench!
And, as an engineer, Larry should know a pipe wrench is not the best tool for a nut…
Especially a big nut with blond hair.
I knew you guys would get that joke!
I need to apologize. I mistakenly intimated that the wrench in question was the same type as used in BioShock. It isn’t. A pipe wrench has curved jaws with gripping ridges. What this wrench is, is an adjustable spanner or “monkey wrench”. Like someone else said, “Whoopsie”.
Not at all. The drawing came from looking up “Antique Pipe Wrench,” so I just assumed that that’s what it was.
Dang. I could’ve titled this strip “Release the Flying Monkey Wrench.”
Or something.
It totally worked for me; being funny comes way before being right…
It depends on what you want that particular nut to do.
I can see that last panel on Groovy t-shirts and coffee mugs lol.
Sign me up! 🙂
That would make a cool t-shirt, now that you mention it. Though, since I drew it so small, it would probably work better on a coffee mug.
