Glad Edison could set this trainwreck back on the tracks.
Friday, for our 300th strip, we’re going to go…well, I’m just going to make you wait and see. I hope you like whatever it is.
Actually, I have a couple of strips in mind, and I just have to decide on which one goes first. You’ll find out soon!
Um… I realize that Edison is still a bit inebriated, but… That’s messed up. She’s actually telling Stephanie that clothes shopping is “more important” than talking about what happened last night?
It’s not like this has the potential to hurt feelings or anything. Not at all. [sigh] They’re going to need more kitten picture books at this rate. Or maybe an actual kitten. Or a puppy or two.
I just hope Stephanie does break. What’s the worst that can happen when a nigh-indestructible android gets a broken heart?
Sorry, I meant “does NOT break”. (No way to edit a comment here?)
I could edit it for you, but I really hate to mess with your comments. I think it’s better this way.
Well, it’d be even better if you could edit them, but we make the best of what we’ve got.
Something like heartbreak already happened to Stephanie when Phyl Sampson died (“CRASH” Jul 16, 2012–“HUNKY-DORY” Aug. 24. 2012). She learned that human existence is often painful, and always fleeting.
Stephanie often comes across as a butterfly-brained lightweight, but she is tougher and far more able to process than she seems. She’ll be all right.
I do enjoy Stephanie’s sense of humor. I sense the snark growing in her.
Edison on the other hand, seems to be the victim of a massive head explosion.
Stephanie is pushing Edison’s buttons. What a hoot!
I dunno – my take on Stephanie is that there’s no pretense to her. She’s not pushing any buttons knowingly – whatever thoughts are passing through her head, those are the words she says. She’s a true innocent, in the purest sense of the word.
That, plus she melted her shoes.
Stephanie may push Edison’s buttons at some point.
She did tease Larry here. But that was when she lived exclusively at Sampson Enterprises.
Now that she’s in the big wide world, with all these new people and new experiences, she knows she needs to tread carefully. She’s had her feelings hurt many times by the things other people say.
Stephanie wants to be careful not to do the same to strangers or the people she loves.
