Badda-BOOM.
I imagine that, when Eleanor finds out that Anya’s tricked her, she’ll just laugh, pat her on the back, and take everyone out to dinner. Uh-huh.
Hey! Happy Valentine’s Day! To celebrate, the Webcomic Underdogs created the Webcomic Underdogs First Ever Valentine’s Love Child Project (or whatever we’re calling it).
So, the mighty mcmasters, creator of Webcomic Pete, created Janya, the adorable offspring Anya and Jim!
Aren’t they cute?
Meanwhile, I sent a little Valentine’s something over to October 2oth:
You really owe it to yourself to read October 20th.
Today is a good day to be Anya, on so many levels.
*Floaty Hearts*
Happy Monday, Webcomic sis!
1) Anya very sneaky!
2) Damn you for getting me sucked into October 20th! 😛
One does not become “sucked in” to October 20th, any more than one would be “sucked in” to Groovy, Kinda. One would, by virtue of one’s own superior intellect and discerning taste, simply choose to experience such fine fare. One would also be well advised to sample the offerings of the “Other Groovy Comics” list. Such a buffet is not to be overlooked.
I could not have said it better myself.
That’s assuming Eleanor doesn’t have something ELSE up her sleeves. Oh, and just love those paintings! For a second, I thought the clown was talking and to be honest…I like the effect. I don’t know why, I just find that kind of funny.
I see a certain bunny has made an appearance again. I wonder if he should apply for frequent-flier miles, popping between comics like that, haha!
I’m not absolutely certain, but I think that’s the happiest I’ve ever seen said bunny.
I’m glad you like it. That’s one of those times where I could visualize the panel right off. The clown is a little scary because Edison hasn’t been drinking as much as usual.
And that bunny sure does get around, doesn’t he? I should start paying you a commission sometime.
Eleanor mad at Anya? Naw, that’s what the Door is for.
Anya will just love where ever she winds up.
Which could be the start of another graphic novel.
“She was a Children’s Librarian, lost in a world of Dragons and Sorcerers!”
She would probably end up being a Sorcerer’s “apprentice”.
Yes, yes it could.
‘Her’s was the voice of power during story time.’
Still more experimentation on backgrounds. Rather than artistic backgrounds, art as a background. Bold, and, um, artistic. You mist be having a blast.
And Robespierre is actually quite an accomplished artist, although he/she/it has fallen into the tendency of an artist to put something of their own features in a portrait. 🙂
BTW, I liked your Valentines toons in your comments box.
Anya looks very happy.
I was going more for a “Ansgar, if you were still here, you’d be so proud of your children” thing.
Gah! Horrible, horrible clown, scourge of my nighmares, bringer of doom and misery to all!
Oh, a painting. Never mind…
You know, I really don’t give Anya the credit she deserves. I’ll admit, I figured Eleanor had her fingers firmly on her spine, but I love being proven wrong. Now we just want to know what Eleanor is REALLY planning. Come on Charlie, quit holding out on us.
Oh, and the valentine is beautiful. Brings a tea… I mean dust! Dust in my eye!
I was very proud of Anya when I drew this. And, I don’t know about you, but Anya’s face in the last panel has a very October 20th feel to it. I think it was because I was studying your art so closely for the Valentine’s Day picture.
Who said Eleanor wasn’t planning to become immortal? Actually, you may find out a little bit more of her plans in the future.
And I understand if the clown scares you. And about the dust in your eye.
Anya has gone from being a spy into a double-agent…who swings both ways.
