Hey! Another comic!
Despite all the flaws, this one took a long time to write. I finally just gave up and let those two say what they had to say.
Sorry about the word balloons. I used to use Word, but it no longer allows me to Copy/Paste between programs (wonder when they changed that), and Open Office no longer pastes smooth edged shapes (wonder when they changed that?).
Anyway, there’s another comic in the works, and it involves Stephanie and… well, you’ll see someday.
Unfortunately, it will not-and I know our readership will plummet because of this-will not feature a certain Venusian Cat Girl. My sincerest apologies.
Venusian Cat Girl deserves her own strip. She needs to be in a class by herself, much like quarentine.
I didn’t notice the jaggies around the word balloons until you mentioned them, but there they are. If you can exagerate it, it could be a useful look in some situations, like a slightly static-y radio broadcast.
So true, on both accounts. There’s a place for the balloons, and Miffy is in a class by herself.
Thank you, Pops, my friend. When I make that long overdue Miffy strip, I’ll have you to bl… I mean, thank you for the inspiration.
I was in a class by myself a time or two…. Just me and the Vice-Principal for Students. We called him Chuckles, but not within earshot.
I had a co-worker who called me Chuckles sometimes.
He was the one who said: “You have your own country. Chuckleslovakia.”
And a legend was born.
I noticed Alice seems to have grown a couple of cup sizes in the last 3 comics, as well as changing her top to something more revealing.
I take that as an indication this isn’t taking place over a few days but more like several weeks as Alice grows up.
Well… it’s more down to my rusty drawing skills.
No Miffy? Perhaps a flock of chickens would soothe our broken hearts (three chickens should do it–no point in going overboard….) ^^
Okay, okay, I’ll see what I can do in an upcoming strip.
Or I’ll buy some time by posting pictures of my four girls.
