Ah, that Edison, and her talent for always looking at the bright side of life.
I have a feeling this isn’t over yet. But, at the moment, we have other folks to check in upon. Stay tuned.
Since this strip was so late, there’s a good chance that I may not have the next one up on schedule. I’ll do my best, and I’ll keep you posted!
Whew, this one likes to spit fire! I can’t say that I blame her, though, and ultimately, things are going more or less as Edison was hoping. I mean, the end result is most likely what she’s aiming at. I’m kind of surprised she didn’t get upset at the “my family” comment, but considering her recent reconciliation with Dilbert, I suppose she’s aware that he won’t be walking out of her life just yet.
I like how you hide mouths, especially here when the owner is rendered (literally) speechless. Philo’s girlfriend is a keeper. I like her.
I like her too.
And the hiding mouths thing is great-it’s one of the freedoms of having a cartoony style. Like whirling stars around a bonked head.
Well, Edison seems to think she got a result out of it. And it seems Philo has found love way over on the other side of the personality spectrum. 🙂
Love that last panel, by the way. But how did she end up in the tub?
She climbed in a page or two ago. She tends to do that.
Oh, my, oh, my! Now I wanna see Philo’s new lady tie into Eleanor over something! The fireworks ought to be spectacular! ^^
I was almost frightened when I visualized it – then I remembered the face-off between Eleanor and Reade. Eleanor is sorta unsquashable, even when she’s dead to wrongs. I expect any encounter between these two would be considered to be a win by each party. Kinda like dealing with Miffy – you just gotta know how to roll with it.
My take on the difference between the two is that Reade was fencing verbally with Eleanor, trying to score points with snark and irony. This lady (oh DO tell us her name, Charlie), would be more interested in gouging eyeballs and punching kidneys.
Reade wielded an Epee, Ms. X swings a Claymore.
Nice one, Delta-v. She hasn’t told me her name, so I can’t tell you just yet.
But she fights for the things that matter to her, and she’s not above fighting dirty if that’s what it takes.
And she stands by the people who matter to her. Which is one of the things that attracted Philo to her.
