Well, there’s good news and there’s bad news.
The good news is that Edison’s arm healed up, so nobody needs to know she got bit. The bad news is that now she’s gonna go through withdrawal symptoms. The neither good nor bad news is that she’s imagining Victoria in the mirror.
The maybe bad news is that she’s gonna have to figure out a way to get back to Victoria without arousing Eleanor’s suspicion. The good news is that she might be able to handle this (though it doesn’t look like it). Or, could there be a cure out there? Maybe in Eleanor’s book?
The really good news is that Stephanie’s fabulous outfit in panel one is from a cool book: “70s Fashion Fiascos,” by Maureen Valdes Marsch.
The even better news is that you’re gonna see more fabulous outfits next time, when these two go shopping and Edison starts the wheels to spinning.
In other good news, I’ve been on a drawing roll lately, so I’ve got two in the pipeline and one on the drawing board.
Well she IS an occasionally recovering alcoholic, so how bad could vampire bite fetishism withdrawal be? ^^
It always amuses me when someone turns their nose up at someone else’s fashion taste–especially if they write a book about it. 🙂
Vampire bite withdrawal isn’t nearly as serious or life-threatening as alcohol withdrawal, to be sure. But it is something she’ll have to watch out for.
The book is more tongue-in-cheek-mostly just pictures from catalogs. I would love a comprehensive book on 70s fashion.
Personally, I like most of the fashion she pokes fun at. At least the women’s clothes. Some of the mens…well, I’ll feature some soon.
One of my favorite sources is high school yearbooks. It’s a great way to see what people actually wore.
The absolute last person who needed another chemical dependency, sadly
Too true. But, on the other hand, the person with the most experience in handling one.
Or, succumbing to one, if you will.
