Oh, that Jacob. He’s trying.
Happy Monday! Wednesday, Anya explains the situation and vows to do the right thing. What happens next? You’ll see.
I died at the adolescent mustache comment. I am sure it’s visible when a magnifying glass. XD
Are the archives ship shape now, my captain?
As someone who gets called “Tom Selleck’s Grandad” I appreciated the moustache growing reference.
My “Gravy Strainers” getting close to Forty years old and I remember hiw long it took to come in.
Classic Charlie, Classic.
Archives are ship-shape, the jib is squared, and the poop-deck’s been properly keelhauled, all thanks to my top-notch guardian angel.
Thank you again, and a hundred times again, Vas.
Anytime. By the way, I don’t know if you got my email, but Loki and I have been reading the books. Loki about died when he found out that you worked on the XXXenophile-related books and immediately searched for comic bags to keep them safe. I also really adored Blue Moon, and a Romany on the Trail gave me a historian boner! Thank you so much sir. 😀
Always happy to oblige!
I’m glad you liked them. Someday I might scan all the Utopia, Unlimited pages and post them as a NSFW comic.
When I saw Romany on the Trail I immediately thought of you!
“Oh what’s love got to do, got to do with it – Tina Turner
“I wish I had a pencil-thin mustache” . . . Preferably sung by Leon Redbone.
Oh, Anya. It seems Jacob traded one mistress for another.
Maybe “The Stache” by Johnathon Coulton?
“Pencil Thin Mustache” is, if I’m remembering correctly, a Jimmy Buffet song.
“…and an autographed picture of Andy Devine.”
I’ve never quite understood why budding breasts and the onset of menstruation are to be treated with kindness and support, while sparse whisker growth and a cracking voice are objects of mockery and derision.
And no, this isn’t a slam at women and girls, since men do it too. It ‘s funny to everyone–except the boy involved.
Because the one is inevitable and essential, while the other is optional and often faintly ridiculous? Teenage boys can stand being told to have a shave, after all…
A cracking voice is optional?
And I wasn’t talking about cultivating scraggly growth, just pointing out that it is inevitable also.
Cracking voice-mandatory (“Man” datory?), while the scraggly growth can be kept down.
Man I’m an adult and still can’t grow a good mustache. Curse my blond hair!
It gets worse. I had a pencil thin mustache (the Boston Blackie kind) and it comes out gray.
I like to think that it looks distinguished, but others may disagree.
