Well, it’s not like this is the first time Edison has done this with someone close. Maybe it’s time she did some thinking.
Coming up-Stephanie gets her book, and we get a look at someone new. That’s all the clues you get for now. You’ll just have to tune in on Monday!
“These aren’t the shoppers you’re looking for…”
Wait…tune in on Friday? So we have to wait a whole ‘nother week??
Friday? Did I say Friday? Sheesh, things get so hectic I forget what day it is. I meant Monday. Thanks for catching that.
That’s amazing! Steph’s hair can go from full-bodied and bouncy to straight and wet-as-a-dog flat in 0.5 seconds. It really is like a mood ring. (Yes, I know we’ve seen it before. But this was a very dramatic use. 😛 )
Edison is saying “The whole store waiting to be dehanged” in the first panel? Ambitious goals, if I’m reading that right.
And that really is some amazingly straight hair on Stephanie.
I believe the word is “devoured”.
It was “devoured,” but I kind of like “de-hangered.”
I wanted to see what Stephanie would look like with absolutely straight hair. Like Phyl Sampson had.
Oh Lord, there’s nothing worse than having entire great times wiped out by booze. Oh boy.
I know what you are saying, But if Edison considered what she did to Stephanie to be “great times”, she probably wouldn’t feel so guilty and ashamed of herself as she seems to be.
On the other hand, getting piss-your-pants drunk again should take the sting right away for her.
Self-induced proactive amnesia.
“I drink to forget.”
“Forget what?”
“I don’t remember, I was drunk.”
Hubba hubba! Burly-cue at its best!
Unfortunately, it’s not as easy to explain to Stephanie as it was to Anya, way back here. Edison considered it a great time at the time. It’s just that she forgot it later.
“I still mean whatever it was I said.”
Priceless . . .
I think it’s the use of the word “nice” that makes it so heartbreaking. It obviously meant alot to Stephanie, and then realising that Edison doesn’t even remember… Harsh.
And Stephanie’s too young, or too new, or too unfamiliar, to understand.
