I couldn’t resist that title.
Well, Izzy sure is impressed with Allen. Wait till she sees him in action. She might change her mind. Then again…
Looks like Triss is okay with staying. At least for the time being.
Coming up-more intrigue, some violence, and a surprise or-wait, did I just say violence? Well, you can’t say I didn’t warn you.
I want to apologize for the tardiness of this strip. I’ve been playing Mortimer in our local theatre’s production of “Arsenic and Old Lace.” If you’ve seen the play (or the movie) you know how exhausting it can be. But, we only have one (sold out!) weekend left, so I should be back up to speed soon.
Again, thank you so much for your patience. By the way, if you want to read a review of the play…
Nothing perks up an upset teenage boy like the prospect of seeing some unbridled chaos. Buck up, champ!
βIn the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.β Sun Tzu; The Art of War
Yep. It was touch and go for a minute there. Tris can be hard to deal with, once he’s got his mind made up. And he was scared.
But, hey, millions of bugs! What’s not to like?
What a fabulous review. You certainly got high marks from that guy. I’ve only ever seen the Cary Grant movie, but it’s such a good plot – I’d love to be able to fly 6,000-odd miles to watch your play. Unfortunately…..
I’ve commented before on your comic titles appropriateness – this one is a goodie. π
I’d wondered what was in that 55-gallon drum. Now we know. Tee-hee!
Tru, if you came out here I’d do everything I could to get you a seat. We’ve been sold out for the entire run, but I’d put you in the light booth if I had to.
Isn’t this title a hum-dinger? As soon as I realized that Reade had to hide herself under a cloak I knew I had to use it.
Yep. A 55 gallon drum full of CHAOS & DISTRACTION!
So the atonement plan is in order. As the students, I also want to see into the chaos…
Well, I don’t know if I want to draw a mess hall full of flying bugs, but I think I can promise you some other chaos pretty soon…
Geez, Tristan, man up. The Marines have landed and the situation (not to mention the crickets) is well in hand. ^^
Furthermore, it looks like Biff is in for a little visit from Nelson, and Isolde seems to have a new hero. I do wonder what those cinder blocks could be for, however…….
Oh now, have a little sympathy for the kid. Here his mom shows up and he thinks she’s going to take him home. Then she tells him he has to stay? No wonder he’s confused.
He knows the 7th Calvary has arrived now, though.
Yeah, Biff & Bradley are going to meet a real pirate, real soon. The cinder blocks might be involved.
Oh, Isolde. I can’t imagine how anyonw would mistake Allen and Nelson for eachother. Honestly. So far fetched. And way to ruin the element of surprise, Jacob.
Love the juxtaposition of Reade and Isolde in panel 4…
Thanks! That was another panel that just came to me.
This strip had a strange history. I wrote it, but I wasn’t happy with the ending. So I started drawing it. I got three panels done, and spent a week and a half thinking about how to end it. Then this ending came to me. So I finished drawing it. It was terrible.
I had to sit down and re-draw the entire strip. It was a lot of work, but I’m much happier with this version.
